Trump's social media app 'Truth Social' is coming in February. Controversial former US President Donald Trump's social media app Truth Social is coming to Apple's App Store soon. Truth Social has recently been listed in Apple's App Store. According to the information provided in the App Store, the app will be officially available for download on February 21. However, like those who saw the screenshot, Truth Social is actually a clone of Twitter. Also, data theft and privacy risk in social network sites will play a big factor whether Truth Social will gain popularity or not.
The Trump Social and Technology Group (TMTG), owned by Trump, created the Truth Social app. Looking at the screenshots of the App Store, the tech site Verge says that Truth is as social as Twitter. The profile page shown in the screenshot is almost identical to Twitter. Users' posts have been labeled as truth in the app's description.
Technology-related people don't see this match with Twitter as a coincidence in the design of the Truth Social app. Trump's favorite social media was Twitter. But after the January 8 riots, the platform banned him.
The release date of Truth Social in apple platform is in February. It is yet to know will there be a version of Truth Social in Android and when will be android app released.
