Huawei owns 64% of China's foldable phones

 

Foldable phones have become quite popular in recent times. Globally, South Korea-based Samsung has an exclusive position in this segment. But the Chinese market is dominated by local technology giant Huawei. Huawei owns 64% of the foldable phones in the world's largest smartphone market. 


According to a recent report by Irisarch China, Huawei has a 64% share of the foldable phone market in China by 2021. Keeping in mind the market demand, the Chinese technology giant has announced to bring another foldable phone called P50 Pocket on 23rd December.


Huawei's two most popular foldable phones are the Huawei Mate X2 and the Huawei P50. The two phones are very similar to Samsung's Galaxy G Fold 3 and Galaxy G Flip-3.
