A new games panel is being added to the Microsoft Edge browser

Microsoft's initiative to rebuild the Edge browser using Chromium has begun to see success. The browser market is slowly growing. The software giant is going to add a games panel as a new feature for the users.

According to report,  the well-known tipstar named Leopova found the new games panel in the latest version of the Microsoft's 64 Edge Canary in Newwin. Although the feature is currently enabled for some users, it is initially disabled. Enter the Appearance from the browser settings and click on the Games button to turn on the option.

According to the report, after launching the feature, users will immediately see a games button. Clicking on the button will open a panel on the right side of the browser window. The panel will show HTML 5 games in different categories including arcade, board and card, puzzle, sports, casual. Games can be played in the browser without downloading any files or apps. However, it requires an active internet connection. In addition to the games panel, Microsoft is working on another feature called web capture tool.
