TSMC will start production of 2 nanometer chips by the end of 2024. For this, the Taiwan-based chip maker is going to set up a new factory.
The initial phase of the factory will be completed by the beginning of 2024. It will cost them 80,000 to 1 trillion Taiwanese dollars or 2,798 million to 3,381 million dollars. In the initial stage, four and a half thousand new jobs will be created in the new factory.
