Gaming accessories company XPG is going to showcase a gaming mouse with solid straight drive (SSD) storage for the Consumer Electronics Show to be held in 2022.

According to a report published by Digital Trends, the company will add high-speed storage to the mouse. The XPT Vault gaming mouse is basically a wired USB-C type device. The company has dubbed it the Gaming Library in the palm of your hand.
The prototype model mouse is capable of providing storage facilities up to 1 terabyte with a writing speed of 975 megabytes per second. Storage can be controlled through XPG's gaming software. The company said in a statement that the feature would allow users to easily access gaming libraries as well as provide high-level gaming integration with XPG's Prime software ecosystem.
Although it may look like a normal mouse, it will require a powerful USB-C cable to handle such speeds, the source said. However, XPG has not released any information about the DPI or any other feature of this mouse. In addition to the prototype mouse, XPG will launch a number of products next year, including PCIE Gen5X SSD, DDR5 Diram and XPG wired or wireless alpha gaming mouse.
